Study on air leakage and gas concentration distribution law in goaf with J type ventilation system

Abstract: Abstract:In order to obtain different face air when the air leakage in the working face and gas concentration distribution law in goaf and provide the theoretical support for gas control of face. The distribution characteristics of air leakage and gas concentration in the goaf of Wangzhuang 8103 working face under the conditions of 2198 m3/min, 2350 m3/min, 250 m3/min and 2650 m3/min were simulated by Fluent numerical simulation method. The distribution of air leakage along the working face and the gas distribution in the goaf.The results show that: with the work supply volume increased, the amount of air leakage working face to goaf increased gradually; goaf gas concentration decreased gradually; upper corner gas concentration decreased gradually, and when increasing the air quantity of working face to 2350 m3/min , upper corner gas concentration is reduced to below 1%.
